Support Worker Wanted – Assistance for a Visually Impaired Professional –
A reliable and empathetic Support Worker / Personal Assistant is sought to assist a visually impaired person with day-to-day tasks, travel, and work-related activities.
About the role:
This is a varied and rewarding position providing practical support to help maintain independence and productivity at work and in daily life. Tasks may include:
Driving to and from work or appointments
Assisting with paperwork and document organisation
Supporting with computer-based tasks or reading printed materials
Helping navigate unfamiliar environments or workplaces
Providing general practical assistance where sight loss makes tasks more challenging
About you:
Reliable, organised, and patient
Good communicator with a professional attitude
Full, clean driving licence and own car (essential)
Experience supporting someone with a disability is helpful but not essential – training can be provided
Hours & Pay:
Flexible, part-time hours (to be agreed with the successful candidate). Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
