Who we are and what we do LLBS is a leading local provider of services for the blind and sight impaired throughout East and West Lindsey, Lincoln, North and North East Lincolnshire. LLBS enables and supports any person who is blind or sight impaired to be as independent as they wish and to live the life they choose. We support more than 1800 people of all ages, life stages, and circumstances. LLBS is a local independent charity. It receives no government, local authority or statutory funding. What We Do LLBS provides tailored services that create equal opportunities so people who are blind or sight impaired can be as independent as they choose. LLBS works with other organisations to ensure they have a clear understanding of the needs of the blind and sight impaired community. LLBS knows that sight loss is not the characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind and sight impaired people and our dreams. Life doesn’t stop after vision loss. LLBS will work with you to develop solutions and strategies so you have the confidence to live your life independently and in the way you choose. If you have recently been diagnosed with a vision impairment you probably have a lot of questions and concerns. You may be feeling overwhelmed by the diagnosis and not sure what kinds of questions to ask. You, your family or friends can contact us for information or to arrange assistance on 01507 605604, Monday to Thursday.
